Job Details: Our client in Selkirk, Manitoba is looking for full-time and/or part-time Pediatricians who enjoy a progressive, collaborative work style for consulting community Pediatric practice. With no Pediatricians currently practicing in the area, this is an unparalleled opportunity to be part of a state-of-the art clinic in one of Canada’s most promising regions. Additional skills or criteria would include pediatric resuscitation at hospital birthing unit and attending at the delivery suite. You will have secretarial support, nursing assist, and have flexible consulting hours.

The clinic uses LibreMD EMR, and offers billing support. All equipment and management is provided. Payment structure is fee-for-service, the split arrangement will be 80/20 for the first 3 months, and 75/25 thereafter. The range of potential annual earnings is $350,000-$450,000.

Incentives: Site visit and relocation allowance if out of province.

Clinic Details:  The facility is the first phase of a state-of-the art complex designed to unite primary care with a variety of health care specialties. This will provide a more integrated approach to health and wellness services. As part of the team, you will work alongside family practitioners and specialists in a variety of fields. You will also become part of a vibrant, thriving community, in the region just outside of the province’s largest city. The population of Selkirk and the surrounding area is 25,000, and the hospital is a referral centre for a catchment of 125,000.

Facility details include associated dental and audiology practice, pharmacy, minor operations suite, staff room, doctors room, workstations for associated health providers and member regional home clinic program. On-site services like a new daycare will provide additional convenience for patients and those who practice at the facility.

Requirements: 
• Eligible for certification from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC)
• Eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Manitoba (CPSM)
• Specialist training from Canada, USA, Australia, Hong Kong, Ireland, New Zealand, Singapore, South Africa, Switzerland, United Kingdom
