Downtown Clinic with Excellent Earning Potential (with pics!)

Job Details: Our client in Calgary, Alberta is looking for a full-time and/or part-time Family Physician to join their Family Practice/Walk-in clinic. Preferably a fulltime Physician who is sincere, hardworking, knowledgeable and patient focused, who is open to a collaborative patient care approach. The incoming physician can bring with them an existing family practice, or they can work to build a practice ideally seeing a variety of 30-40 patients per day providing them the opportunity to tailor their practice. Hours of work are Monday to Friday, 8 hours a day. Patient load and hours of work are at the physician's discretion. The clinic is closed on Saturdays and Sundays. There is an opportunity for flexibility and an open discussion on ideas for working these days as well.

The clinic uses Collaborative Health Record (CHR) EMR and offers billing support. Payment structure is fee-for-service. The arrangement is 75/25 flat split on AHS, BCP, WCB, Third Party insurance Company payments and uninsured services. Do what you are trained to do and love. The clinic is responsible for the banking, staffing, payroll, clinic maintenance and operations along with any government commitments. The range of potential full-time annual earnings is $450,000-$550,000.

Incentives Available to the Physician: Support is provided with Work Permit and PR applications.

Clinic Details:  This large, spacious and well-maintained clinic includes exam rooms, waiting area and a procedure room with well stocked medical supplies. The clinic has well experienced and supportive staff to assist, and fully vetted policies and procedures in place. There are 2 family physicians and 1 specialist currently working at the clinic. The clinic works with a primary care network for multidisciplinary care, allied health professionals include a primary care nurse and a psychologist. The facility is located inside a mall near the downtown core where there are several densely populated communities in the vicinity with the patient demographic including newborn to elderly and new immigrants. Other allied health professionals including chiropractor, physiotherapist, dentist, optometrist along with pharmacies are all nearby.

• College of Family Physicians Canada (CFPC) Certified 
• College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA) Full Licence
