Excellent Earning Potential in Large FHT Clinic  

Job Details: Our client in Ottawa, Ontario is looking for full-time and/or part-time Family Physicians to join their Family Practice/ Urgent Care clinic. Duties include seeing booked patients typically in 15 or 30 minute appointments, managing your rostered patients, and cross cover for other doctors in the clinic and vice versa.

Hours of work required are regular daytime hours for scheduled visits, urgent care one evening per week (Monday-Thursday) 5-8pm, one Friday evening urgent care shift from 5-8pm every 6-12 weeks, and one Saturday or Sunday urgent care shift from 9am-3pm every 6 weeks. No overnight or on call duties.

The clinic uses Oscar EMR, and offers billing support. Payment structure is Capitation - based on size of rostered practice + shadow billing and some fee-for-service billing. Split arrangement is 75/25+HST, which equals 28.25%, and all management services are included - physicians just need to work as physicians - no administrative tasks. The range of potential annual earnings is $450,000-$550,000. 

Clinic Details: This is a fully staffed Family Health Team (FHT) medical clinic offering a wide range of patient services with 12 full-time and 2 part-time Family Physicians and a Gynecologist one day per week, as well as Allied Health Professionals. Clinic hours are Monday to Friday 8am-8pm, Saturday to Sunday 9am-3pm.

Requirements: 
•    Postgraduate training from Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia or USA
•    Eligible for certification by the College of Family Physicians Canada (CFPC)
•    Eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO)
